The life blood of an internet marketing business or a network marketing
business is leads. Without leads our business will die. It's like having a shop which no one walks
in. How long would it last?
There are various ways of getting leads on and offline.
There are free and paid methods of getting leads online
Free ways of getting leads are blogging, social media, article marketing
and video marketing. Though these methods aren't actually free; you pay for
them in time.
Paid (money) methods are Pay Per Click, Banner Ads or Solo Ads
One of the ways that I have found is very effective to bringing leads on to
my list is through solo ads. You can add 1000 leads to your list, quickly and
cost effectively using solo ads.
This is what I want to share with you in this post.
If you don't know what solo ads are they are small adverts in the form of
emails that are sent to other people's list.
There are people out there who sell solo ads, they will sell them by
'click'. For example you can by 50 clicks, 100 clicks, 1000 clicks etc.
Many online marketers find Solo ads more effective then Pay Per Click
advertising. The quality of leads can be better because they have already shown
an interest in something similar to what you are offering (they are another
person's list) The cost is often cheaper, PPC ads can cost $2-3 a lead if not
more (depending on your expertise), while leads from solo ads can cost around
the $1-$1.50 mark.
The other advantage of solo ads is that you can determine how much you want
to spend on the ad upfront, whereas with PPC if you forget to check your
campaign, the cost can spiral upwards
very quickly.
There are 3 things that are very important with Solo Ads
1) Lead source
2) email copy
3) Capture page copy
There are three ways that you can find lead sources.
The first one is through a site such as Safe-Swaps. This is a site where
people sign up to buy, sell and swap ads. This site is good to use and is a
site that I personally recommend. There are two memberships: a limited guest
membership and a paid membership. The paid membership offers a few different
options, however when you start you can get going with an unpaid membership.
The second way is finding solo ad sellers on Warrior Forum. If you haven't
heard of Warrior forum it is a forum mainly for internet marketers. To use
Warrior Forum to find solo ad sellers you will need to register for an account.
To find sellers click on search, then advanced search. Type in 'solo ads' in
keyword box and hit search.
You will then have a list of threads with the keyword solo ads. You can go
through these threads and find buyers. If you see one you like click on the
thread and read what is posted. You may not be able to private message them if
you have got a new account, so you just reply to them and tell them you are
interested.
A few things to check before you buy an ad:
Ask the seller how they built there list. If they buy leads - run from
them. You want them to say they built their list through the ways I mentioned
in the introduction.
Ask them when was the last time they added subscribers to their list. (This
will tell you that the list is active)
The third way is to google 'what ever your niche is' newsletters, so for
example dog-trainers newsletter. Have a look at their website if it looks good
and active subscribe to the site. Over the next week or so, look at the emails
and see if the emails are interesting with good content. If you like what their
newsletter looks like and its offering good content, then contact the owner and
tell him you are interested in advertising with him.
You may wonder how much you should be paying for your ads; up to 50 cents a
click. Closer to 30-35 cents is better.
Why Congruency In Solo Ads is Important?
Congruency in solo ads is very important. The solo ad, must match up with
the capture page. For example an ad I'm running at the moment says '25 Year old
Australian self-made millionaire is looking for partners; I have this phrase in
my Solo ad copy and on my capture page.
They match each other.
What if I used the phrase in the ad copy and then talked about how to get
30-50 leads a day? This would confuse the potential lead because what he
thought he was clicking on turned out to be something else. Are you going to
get many leads out of this? No, of course not.
Some Solo Ad Tips
The idea for solo ads is to maximize clicks, leads and then sales. To do
this your advert needs to be short and to the point.
The template that you may use is this one:
Subject line: FREE/NEW/True Story: “How To Get "X" Results In
"Y" Time”
Email body: The headline from your capture page
Link
Your Name
Very simple, to the point and it creates curiosity.
A question to ask yourself is this: How much curiosity is created by your
solo ad? If none, then it isn't going to maximize your clicks or leads, so you
will need to change it.
So go ahead create some solo ads, you have got three ways to find sellers
who will put your ad out to their list.
I've shared with you about congruency and I've shared with you a template.
Go get adding leads to your list!

You're Welcome, Keep connecting.. Have a great time and a wonderful life.
Mostly the solo ads are very small and effective to express the benefits and the product advantages. And the online solo ads are specially target on social sites because mostly people are looking on that kind of sites. I also write a solo ad and target people on social sites.
